New signage honoring donors at YMCA in Cass County

Recently we assisted the Cass County Family YMCA with new interior signage at the completion of their facility's major renovations. Before we touch on the signs, we must mention how INCREDIBLE the transformation of the YMCA turned out. Walking into the fresh new Welcome Center gives the feeling that "Toto, we're not in Kansas anymore". The floor to ceiling windows and top of the line finishes and amenities are more than impressive.
Business leaders and community members alike provided generous donations to make this renovation possible. At the completion of construction, the Cass County Family YMCA felt compelled to honor their generous donors by displaying various types of signage throughout the facility that will be seen and appreciated by Y members for years to come.
We provided and installed several different styles of acrylic panels with vinyl graphics to honor Milt & Jean Cole, local businesses, and individuals for their substantial donations. Milt & Jean Cole and Chad Geer are distinctly honored by way of precision tooled bronze plaques that include UV prints and special messaging for their lifelong dedication of improving Cass County through volunteerism, leadership, and contributions.
We also had the opportunity to provide ADA compliant identification signage for each area such as the weight room, gymnasium, pool, locker rooms, and restrooms, to name a few. The layout of these signs are interesting as they contain English, Braille, and Spanish. We welcomed the challenge of designing these to be ADA compliant while using the YMCA's brand-approved colors and font, and at an affordable price. Mission accomplished.
We sincerely appreciate the opportunity to have worked with the Cass County Family YMCA on their new interior signage. Each project that Huston Signs takes on is different, but this one was particularly special as we knew how important it was to provide high quality, sophisticated signage to pay due diligence to the generous donors of the YMCA.
