Forging relationships - Huston delivers quality signs for Madison County FCU
Powerful customer relationships are essential to business success – for both parties. Take Huston's long-standing relationship with Madison County Federal Credit Union, for example. They reached out to us back in 2009 as they were looking for a new sign company to work with and were hoping for a better experience than they had prior. Huston's Account Manager at the time, Matt Boor, jumped at the chance to earn their business. He immediately set up a meeting between Huston Signs, Madison County FCU, and Watchfire (our electronic message center manufacturer) so he could find out how we could best meet their signage marketing needs. It didn't take long to find out we were a great match. They needed onsite digital advertising and a dependable sign company while we valued their investment in our services. We were able to provide them with great looking channel letters, pylon signs, and Watchfire digital displays.
Over the years, Madison County FCU has grown by opening new branches and even re-branded and has trusted Huston with the signage aspect all along the way. 2010-
" I wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation for Huston Sign & Service for our logo and our message center signage on our newest office. We have received many compliments on how nice it looks and how it makes our business stand out.
Let me begin by saying what a pleasure it was interacting with EVERY Huston employee I spoke to. Everyone from the receptionist to the sales and design team to the installation team was professional in every sense of the word. All were very knowledgeable and courteous and each of them took the time to make sure that I was comfortable in each particular step of the process and made sure that all of my questions were answered and concerns were addressed. I especially have to hand it to the installation team. They did an outstanding job and were very friendly in otherwise miserable conditions. It was VERY cold, windy and snowy whenever they were around.
When I made the decision to go with Huston Sign, it was not because of the lowest bid. There were other bids that were lower than Huston. I chose Huston because of the level of expertise demonstrated to me in the sales process. All bidders for our project were knowledgeable and had a great reputation. What made Huston stand out was:
1)Huston was recommended to me by Watch Fire. Choosing a sign company with a tight relationship to the hardware manufacturer meant fast and accurate service for us in the future.
2)Choosing Huston meant we had a fantastic design team, dedicated message center workstation hardware, certified electricians on the installation team (one less person to call/pay during the installation) and a fantastic warranty with a lifetime of service support.
3)What sealed the deal was that we would receive message center training on our hardware, at our facility, on our schedule, as long as it took until we were comfortable programming our sign. It was amazing to me that Huston had our message center programmed with messages 'flipping' as soon as it was installed. There was no down time. We hadn't even opened for business but our sign was advertising!
We feel that we certainly received what we paid for. Huston really delivered, we couldn't be happier.

"Madison County FCU chooses to use Huston Signs because we know that the job will be done right the first time, at a fair price while knowing the finished product will be fantastic! Our most recent engagement with Huston didn't disappoint.
Our newest location in Pendleton, IN needed signage as we prepare to open up the office. We called Samantha Milburn at Huston who immediately got the ball rolling. Samantha took care of everything from the design, working with the town of Pendleton on complying with town ordinances, permitting and installation. Working with Samantha was wonderful. She made it so easy.
On installation day, the installers arrived with the new signs and all of the tools & equipment necessary to complete the job. They were friendly and cheerful, great attitudes. They got the job done fast and efficiently. They were quick to notice that the installation would look better if they made slight adjustments to where the sign was located on the building fascia. After a quick conference with us, they made the adjustment and wow, it looked so much better with that one little tweak. They even worked through the afternoon in the rain to complete the job in one trip. Very impressive.
